Purchased to accommodate a US size bulb in a Turkish lamp fitted for European bulbs. Served the purpose most efficiently.

I purchased this to adapt a decorative European lamp to candelabra and it works well. It is exactly as described and well made.

Great product, was for a lamp my granddaughter sent from middle east. Old fumble fingers broke the bulb I was looking for a light bulb when I found this adapter at LightBulbs.com. really works GREAT.

My parents moved to the US from Europe and brought along several chandeliers and lamps with the wider European candelabra bulb screw diameter. This item did the trick of allowing these lighting fixtures to be used in the US with US candelabra bulbs. Just screw the item onto the bulb base, and then screw the bulb onto the lighting. I recommend ordering a few more than you need, as some of these adapters might get lost over time in case someone throws them away while they are still attached to a bulb being replaced.
