My work shop/enthusiast garage uses 6 of the 48" length bulbs and another six of these 72" versions for a space 24' by 45'. My contractor used fitments for these bulbs with the R 17d base (recessed double contacts). The R 17d's are not as widely available in local hardware stores so I am very pleased to be able to buy them from LightBulbs.com. These bulbs work great, give out good light and last as long as any of them. I recommend these bulbs, finding they work very well in my application. Thanks!
