An inexpensive flashlight with an amazing range of features.

I definitely do not consider myself a flashlight connoisseur, but when I first saw the Larry flashlight by Nebo, I thought, “Wow! That’s a cool flashlight!” The Larry throws out a super bright light, and unlike most flashlights, the LEDs are positioned in a row, enabling the light to cover a wide, illuminating angle instead of a round narrow beam.

The Larry, by NEBO

After testing out the flashlight myself, I purchased several of the Larry flashlights for my dad and his friend who owns an automotive repair shop. My dad and his friend use the Larry while fixing cars. They are able to attach the magnet clip to the car hood, and because the clip rotates, the Larry provides excellent illumination for whichever car part is being worked on.

Here are some of the characteristics that make the Larry such a great find:

  • Easy push on and off switch on the top of the flashlight
  • Rotating Magnetic clip
  • 60 lumens of bright white light
  • Row of 8 LEDs shines light at a wide angle
  • Bulbs rated for 110,000+ hours of life
  • Reinforced plastic body which is shock-proof and water resistant
  • Includes 3 AAA standard batteries
  • 11 hours run time on 1 set of batteries
  • Available in 4 different colors
  • Also available in a UV leak detector version

The combination of all of these features makes this flashlight an excellent choice for countless applications. Using the magnetic clip, I hang a Larry on my fridge for easy access. Another great idea is to keep a Larry flashlight in the glove compartment of your vehicle. Kids love the Larry too, and you won't have to worry about the flashlight dying after just one use or getting damaged from an accidental fall. The Larry is long lasting and durable. Need some extra light for that home repair? This flashlight will illuminate your work space and keep your hands free. I’ve purchased so many of this Nebo flashlight for myself, my family, and my friends that I’ve lost count.  Use the comment field below to let me know how you’ve put your Larry to work!
