I knew that after turning on the bulb, that it would take at least 30 seconds for the bulb to put out its rated lumens. However, I acquired this light bulb for my bathroom because it puts out twice the lumens that is needed. With that in mind, I figured it would suffice when first turned on. I was wrong; too dim. I will continue looking for a instant on CFL light bulb that produces it maximum lumens when first turned on; similar to the 100watt CFL bulbs in my garage.
