I'm not actually using these for their intended purpose. I'm using these in picture lights instead of those tubular bulbs. I discovered some time ago that chandelier bulbs work better in picture lights than tubular bulbs for several reasons. First, their shape makes it much easier to insert and remove the bulbs in the tight confines of the picture light. Second, they seem to last longer than the super-long filaments in tubular bulbs. Third, the more oval shape seems to distribute light across the picture frame more evenly. I was using flame-tip bulbs but local stores stopped selling the frosted versions, and only offered clear, so I had to go shopping online. These blunt tip bulbs are even better. They offer plenty of light that is evenly distributed across the intended surface. They also look nice when dimmed. My order was shipped in a timely fashion, and everything arrived in perfect condition. My only complaint (not the seller's fault) was that the shipper's tracking system overestimated shipping time and the package arrived several days earlier than the stated delivery date (which is certainly better than arriving late).
