We use this clear light in an outdoor fixture that looks like am old-fashioned gas light. The fixture holds three bulbs and it lights up our pathway quite well.

These light bulbs were perfect for my antique dining room candelabra. I am very happy I was able to find them.

You can't just walk into our Lowes or Home Depot to find these particular lightbulbs I was after......the process was simple, I researched online for the best deal but be careful because some sites may first appear less money but you have to factor in the shipping/tax ect. LightBulbs.com was the winner by far and I will continue to order from them in the future! Great service and fast shipping as well!!
