So far so good. Last ones I bought were from a huge web based retailer. Bad decision, they all failed.

Nice and bright and much less heat, really like this product. Used to replace 500 watt halogen, unsure of longevity as our lights see some rough service. They should outlast halogen as halogens are subject to blowing out with rough handling.

Unfortunately, if you are using a dimmer switch, you shoud be careful with this light bulb.
