Viva Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb (24861 / PLS 26W MINI)

I returned this bulb because it didn't fit.

Purchased these bulbs for use in my sewing room. They provide a generous amount of light for sewing Am very pleased.

Bright, natural color. Warm up fast and fit inside recessed lighting well. Would recommend.

The bulb has been in about a month and is working great. LightBulbs.com was the only place I found this lamp and so far I am very happy.

In general, works great.

But the shoulder is too close to the seating - which makes it very hard to push it in to the fixture. In fact, my first install broke the spiral tube -- the tube is the only area that you can grab and apply force to. My solution was to remove the fixture from the trim, install the bulb, and then re-install the fixture back to the trim.

Replacing a bulb is supposedly a half minute job, but these new fancy fixtures make it a "professionals" endeavor. Sigh!

This bulb fits my fixture -- it plugs in and works -- but it is too large for the globe to fit over it. I do not see that you have another bulb with the same base that is smaller in diameter. So I am using the one I bought without the globe until I can buy a new fixture or find the correct bulb elsewhere.
