I use these lamps in a long string of lights that adorn my front porch. The string is on a timer and they are lighted at Sunset. They burn continuously until about 3:00 AM. They provide a very nice glow to the front of my house and I am pleased with their appearance. My only complaint is that, in this service, they do not last as long as I would like. After replacing quite a few during the first two months of use, I cut back the "on" time by about four hours per day, in order to make the lamps last a while longer.
