These C-6 lights remind me of my childhood when all you could purchase were C-6 lights. The only difference between then and now are the advances in lighting technology. In the early days of C-6 lights, if one light burned out, the whole set of lights went out. The old version had only one wire and the lights were not straight line construction.
With LED lights the colors of the bulbs are more vibrant, as well as cool to the touch.
