I am using this string on my mantle with evergreen boughs. I like the flexibility of having it on for 4 hours, 6 hours, or 8 hours out of the day. I use the 4 hour setting and I turned it on the first time at 5 PM, so it runs every day from 5 to 9 PM with no further action from me. I like that is uses C cells instead of AAs, as they will last longer before needing to be replaced. I am very happy with this purchase.
