Ordered these replacement bulbs before through Amazon. Found LightBulbs.com with a better price so ordered more. Originally purchased strands with bulbs and the bulbs would burn out unexpectedly or break. We like the colors so I ordered replacements.

These bulbs were exactly what I was looking for to replace bulbs of the same type for a pre-lit Christmas tree we bought years ago. I've not used them yet, but as the older bulbs continue to expire, I wanted to have replacements on-hand, as I really enjoy the soft glow produced by these bulbs. They remind me of a very old GE Christmas bulb from the 60's that sported a small crystal frosting (almost like salt crystals) on the glass envelopes. Those bulbs came in different colors, too--and are a similar size as these, (but a smaller base). I think these satin glo bulbs sort of reminded me of my childhood.

These bulbs are great and while colorful, they are not old fashioned. They’re especially beautiful on a flocked tree.
