We purchased three LED bulbs at the same time all to replace the currently in use Par 16 (50 & 60 watt quartz halogen) bulbs. The kelvin range was from 2400 to 2700, both narrow and wide spots and floods.

None of the three bulbs met our needs for color rendition. On full 'brightness' the bulbs are acceptable. However, when dimmed to 50% and 25%, the light becomes gray and unpleasant. A kind of 'cadaverous' appearance.

We will use these bulbs outdoors, and keep using quartz halogen as they are warm and can be dimmed to as low as 10% (about 12-15 watts current consumed) and maintain a warm light.
