Bright is the light that shines from above!
I purchased these lights to replace some standard 40W filament based bulbs. Dim as the approach of night they were. Put these new bulbs in the bathroom and hallway and they are amazing! Super bright. If you've got an application for these small Edison Base bulbs, buy these bulbs...and watch the light shine forth.

These were the exact light bulbs we were looking for. Not sure why the stores stopped carrying them, but I’m glad you had them. They are perfect and we’re shipped out fast. Thanks so much.

I haven't used them yet but wanted to know if they come in "daylight", which is brighter. Thank you.

It is compact enough to fit in my ceiling fan. And the color rendition is good.
I used to buy the bulbs for the ceiling fan from Lowe's with their Utiltech brand, but this bulb is smaller with better perceived color rendition.

I'm using these bulbs in my office. I like the cooler color in my working environment and the brightness these give off is great considering the compact size. The startup brightness is pretty good and the warm up doesn't take much time. I'm impressed with TCP.

These are perfect for the current generation of ceiling fan light kits are are being produced for candelabra-based bulbs. Now WHY in the world these manufacturers are choosing this base type is unknown to me as CFL's with this base types are few and far between! An employee (lighting, fan, & electrical dept.) of one of the big-box home improvement stores told me that MOST of the ceiling fans are coming in with this type of sockets in them, yet they carry only ONE CFL bulb that works in these. Now... why would you do this in a time when they are going to be ceasing production of incandescent bulbs?!?!?
