Love these bulbs. Use them on antique light fixtures. They coordinate very well with them. I like this lighter amber color better than the darker. I have them with a dimmer switch and use them for lighting on a staircase.

The tint of these lamp bulbs make them look old! They will be used on a newly rebuilt, but, very old electric clock with a 2-bulb candelabra combination. These bulbs seem to be of very high quality, and, I am very pleased with them! Thank You!

I have been using the Sylvania Amber 25 & 40 watt F15 med base Iridescent bulb in my outdoor house lighting fixtures for about 6 years. I truly like the soft warm lighting they provide, as I am more interested in accent lighting, rather than a utility or security type light. It's good that I like the effect, and that Sylvania is the only brand that I have found to supply this type bulb, because their life expectancy is less than impressive and unreliable. Some last a couple of years, others days, weeks, and months. If you like these for effect, buy them. If you want a longer lasting, reliable bulb, look elsewhere. I would like to thank LightBulbs.com for supplying a large quantity of these, when they became unavailable at my local big box home improvement stores. I'm not sure if these bulbs are to be phased out, so I bought a large quantity of them to supply my needs for years to come! Thank you, LightBulbs.com!

Yes, I have some energy efficient bulbs for brighter situations and locations, but for certain lamps, only these bulbs will do. They give a warm charming glow in an otherwise blue-white world.

This is my favorite light bulb for outdoor decorative lighting in my lanterns on both sides of the garage. It is not harsh like some white lights, but rather has a more natural and bit subdued light. The price here at LightBulbs.com is excellent as well.
