Great replacement bulb for my funky bathroom vanity fixtures. Arrived on time, well packaged, nice clean light (looks a little different than the older incandescent one, but not harsh)

Excellent LED light bulbs that provide more light than the original bulbs that were not LED. The fixture is in a dark clothes closet.

It is better than the glass bulbs in replaces, is brighter and fess fragile. Being flexible, it does not activate the switch in the fixture, so that feature had to be deactivated. Otherwise, a welcome replacement.

Love the light quality, color, and lumens output! However, this bulb is made of flexible plastic instead of glass and in fact came with a slight bow to it. What this means is that the bulb, when inserted in my client's vanity fixtures, do not hold down the safety switch located directly behind each bulb. This safety switch is normally depressed when the glass bulb is inserted and by depressing this switch, power is sent to the contacts at either end of the bulb. I had to use duct tape over the safety switches, knowing that my client would never remove the bulbs (and alerting her to issue). An alternative solution would be to bypass the switch internally in the fixtures. We opted for the former "patch" since these fixtures will be replaced in the next renovation in the coming year or so and we didn't want to spend the time for such repairs.

Overall the bulb is great and the client is very happy with the additional light output and quality, but the flexible plastic makes this a less than perfect retrofit bulb.

It is great they are finally making this style of bulb in an LED. The only thing we have noticed is the warmth of the bulb is slightly different between the 8 watt and 5 watt. The 5 watt being a little brighter. On a couple of the lights I added a small felt piece on the safety switch as indicated in another review on the bulbs. The lights come dimmable, but wish the warmth of the bulb was a little warmer as our fixtures are older and have not changed the switch to a dimmable switch yet. Hopefully, down the road, the LED for this type of bulb will be warmer. We also bought the 16 watt bulbs. Overall great bulb and these are hard to find and happy LightBulbs.com carries them.
