It works fine. I use it for a desk lamp.

This light bulb is very bright and just what I need for my aging eyes! I use it in a stand alone lamp beside my work desk and makes my life a little brighter. No punt intended, really though it works good!!

Bought for a crook-neck lamp. Illuminates without glare. Has a nice, soft, yellowish light.

This bulb was purchased as a replacement in a standing reading lamp. It fit perfectly and works great. It provides a nice bright light that is more like outdoor lighting which I like better than a soft warm light.
