I purchased several of these for a tiffany lamp. This lamp took 3 bulbs and the shade was 23" - the glass in this lamp is red/orange/yellow and the skirt of this lamp is made up on 12 turtle-back glass- red/orange in color - this lamp exposes with color because of these wonderful bulbs. I even called back in to the vendor on air and told them that these are the types of lighting needed for these stained glass lamps and gave a plug to LightBulbs.com as place to purchase these Nostalgic Golden Fleck bulbs. To my dismay I have seen folks using spiral fluorescent white bulbs in tiffany lamps that costs from $500 to $1,000+. There is beauty in light bulbs - I recommend all of the different types that of the old type of bulbs. These make the stained glass come to life! How could a plain bulb do justice to a stained glass tiffany lamp?
