We have a spotlight in our ceiling that is aimed toward a picture above our fireplace. We had this same light bulb in a 60 watt but felt we want a softer light. We ordered this 45 watt bulb and it is perfect . It softer but still effective in illuminating the picture and area above the fireplace.

I bought this bulb for the vent hood in my kitchen which is somewhat fussy when it comes to light bulbs for some reason (Allure by NuTone). This light bulb had no installation issues and is the brightest bulb out of all the ones I have purchased. I am very pleased with the performance.

I could not find these bulbs in any nearby store so I was relieved to have found them on LightBulbs.com. They work perfectly in our recessed lighting in the master bedroom of the house we are renting.
