This lamp is of very good quality works as intended. I high recommend this lamp will work with 240 volts at 60Hz current.

We are using the light for fighting infections. Read directions for the step-up transformer. Keep the light at a safe distance from the target--2 1/2 feet and short exposure times 5 to 8 minutes.
