Bought this to replace 20w halogen lamps for a GE microwave oven's range light. As other reviewers have noted, I had to cut/shave off a bit of the silicone outer casing in order for it to fit into the socket. Such an improvement, temperature wise, and energy wise. They feel warm at full intensity, but by no means scalding hot like the halogens! When dim, it's much dimmer than the halogen bulb, but that's no problem for me.

5 STAR Rating! Purchased this for our new Microwave. The manufacturer bulb was so incredibly hot, I thought we were going to have a fire! I love using the under microwave light as a night light and this bulb is cool to the touch! Excellent product! Thank you.

These work perfect for my very small light! They get warm but by no means hot!

Needed a replacement for the microwave night light. had to trim to fit and the low setting is very low... but I am happy with the product.

Very happy with this product! Replaced a hot burning halogen G8 bulb in my LG microwave. That halogen bulb got so hot it routinely cracked the microwave's plastic lens cover. The new LED runs cool and is bright enough to illuminate the stovetop cooking surface. The HIGH/LOW brightness button on the microwave still works with the LED, but LOW has become more of a dim night light. Not an issue for me.

Out of five stars I give this product 4 stars. The 2 LED-bulbs worked grate & they are of excellent quality. The only thing I didn't like was the lumens, for each bulb its about 350 lumens; I which it were 1000 lumens. But for 2 Watts each bulb its an excellent ratio to lumens, you cant beat that.

Works well, not too bright though. Had to trim off some of the silicone at the base to get it to fit into a standard ceramic socket on a GE microwave.

Perfect replacement for halogen bulbs used in under-the-counter placement in the kitchen. Good amount of light, cool to the touch and expected long-lasting life.

I ordered 2 of them to try as replacements for hot, short-lived halogen bulbs in under-cabinet lighting. They work well in that application but the price is prohibitive. With the shipping it cost me almost $50 for two of these. I will likely not be buying the 15 more I would need to replace all of the current halogens--at least not until the price comes down.

I use the 2 watt 120 volt Bi-Pin Base 3000K Non-Dimmable LED in a outdoor spot light, works great!

I was a little sceptical when I ordered these, but I love them. The color is a little different than the holagen I had but now that they have been in for a little while it's great. Now lets see how long they last

Installed in the base of a Jenn-Air/Samsung microwave vent hood combo. Used as a kitchen nightlight. Cool and economical to use all night.

We have under the cabinet lighting, using halogen light bulbs, I bought one of these to try out, it literally gave off more light than that of the halogen. I had a contractor come in and give me an estimate as to the cost of replacing the fixtures and installing new led fixtures. I am saving $1300 buy just replacing the bulbs. Not including the minimal cost to light the counter space. My happiness level is at extremely high.

Nice bulbs. Fits exactly the same. The only thing is that it's not quite as bright as the incandescent bulbs, but still a great replacement.

The light works well but has a blue tint to it instead of a white light.
