I purchased this lamp to use in a basement stairwell fixture where occasionally I need full brightness but many times I don't. The build quality is good but the lamp strobed and flickered badly with two very different dimmers. I ended up converting the fixture to a regular socket so I could install a dimmable LED lamp, which dims fine with the same dimmers.
