This bulb is a gem! I used it to replace a larger, roundish, 45W 2700K spiral CFL in a ceiling fixture in the utility area of my crawlspace. This LED globe is more attractive in appearance than the CFL; takes up less space; provides an equivalent amount of crisp, clear light because it is 3000K rather than 2700K; and consumes about 1/3 as much electricity - a vast improvement all around!
