Dual circuit
Ground connection required
Does not detect motion through glass
Sensor can be bypassed to keep the lights on by extending the time out period to as long as 30 minutes. However, you will not be able to override the sensor so the lights stay on indefinitely
Do not apply 120V and 277V to different circuits on the same sensor. Use two separate sensors for this kind of application

Troubleshooting |
Problem: Cannot switch power on or off with a newly installed switch
This sensor requires a true earth ground connection in order to operate properly. First, check that the device's green and bare wires are connected to the ground in your wallbox. If you do not have a ground available, sensor will not function properly. If you do have a ground but are still experiencing this issue, your ground wire may not directly return to your breaker panel. In that situation, a true earth ground connection would need to be introduced. If you believe this is the issue, please contact Lutron's support line at 844-LUTRON1
Problem: Lights turn off while space is occupied
Sensor's timeout is too short for this application. Increase the timeout as shown in the Installation Instructions
Sensor does not have full view of the room. Move objects blocking its line of sight
Sensor's sensitivity is set too low, change it to high sensitivity
Problem: Lights do not turn on when space is occupied
Multi-location or 3-way wiring may be incorrect. If using with a 3-way mechanical switch, check wiring changes were made at the mechanical switch according to step 3 of the Installation Instructions
Sensor mode is set to vacancy (manual-on)
Sensor is set to one of the Ambient Light Detection (ALD) settings and the room is too bright for the current light level setting
Problem: Lights will not turn off once space is unoccupied
Sensor's timeout may be set for too long
An external noise such as an HVAC vent is interfering with the sensor. Try changing the sensitivity to low
Problem: Lights turn on in vacancy mode
| In vacancy mode, a 15 second grace period follows the timeout where the sensor will turn the lights back on if it senses motion
