| Make sure bulbs in use are incandescent or halogen, since the dimmer is not rated to work with CFL or LED bulbs |
| Problem: LEDs on the control are cycling |
| Make sure bulbs are incandescent or halogen |
| Check canopy module wiring |
| Make sure the fan does not have a wireless remote |
| Make sure fan does not have a current-limiting device in the light kit. You may need to check with the fan manufacturer for this |
| If being used in a multi-location application make sure only one master dimmer has been installed. Companion dimmers (model MA-ALFQ35) will need to be used in the remaining locations |
| Problem: Fan or light does not turn on |
| If the fan has pull chains, check that fan pull chains are in "on" position and set for the highest speed |
