Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Color Thermostat

Very happy overall with this thermostat. I can now control the climate of my entire home from anywhere. I’ve installed six of these throughout my house. I can manage schedules right from the convenience of my phone. Looking forward to an agreement with if this than that (IFTTT) to implement even more efficient usage. It is smaller than several other thermostats I replaced him for so I have to do some wall repair.

I've now had this thermostat for several months. It works beautifully. It installed in about five minutes. Though it is difficult to tell from the picture, I was able to color match it to my wall. I am very pleased with its compact size and discounted price. Thank you.

I went away for a few days and turned off my thermostat. After checking the temperature before my return it was 90 degrees in my house. I was able to turn the thermostat in my App and 3 hours later when I arrived home it had cooled down to 79 degrees. Worked perfectly!

I love the feature of controlling it from my phone

It was so easy to install and set up as long as you have the C wire you should have no issues! Love how it acts as a nightlight giving the room a soft glow of the color of your choice. Easier to navigate through the room with the lighting. Since I have set it up there hasn’t been a need to touch it. My home is always at the right temperature at the right time. I’m hoping I will see some relief from the electric company since I upgraded to this thermostat! All in all if you looking for a cool modern thermostat to compliment your home this thermostat is worth the price!

The thermostat is perfect. I love the fact that I can program it I can connect it to my phone I don’t know I have to be home to make an adjustment to it it is so worth the money.

Easy to install was easy to set up. Only problem was it starts heat up well before the scheduled time so it is at the set temp when you get up. This can be adjusted under settings preferences.

I am very happy with this thermostat. I use it on a gas forced hot air gas system with central A/C. It's great to be able to check or adjust your home's thermostat settings and temperature from your phone, this provides a good sense of security.

It is great and easy to setup if you already have the required C wire. I am on an old multivolt boiler so i have to use a relay switch and an ac 24 volt adapter for the C wire. Afterward the thermostat works like a charm. When connect to your WiFi it shows outside temperature and scheduling is breeze with the touchscreen control. Highly recommend but make you have the require C wire.

Great product. Already recommended to a few people who ordered it. Sometimes when the set temperature is only 1 or 2 degrees over the room temperature the furnace doesn't kick on or it takes longer time to kick on

Works great. You basically set it and forget it. Only thing is you might have to buy a c wire adapter if you don’t have a power wire in your wall.

Had to run a third wire to power up Honeywell thermostat. Little tricky figuring out the wiring.
Besides all that very impressive with ease of operating the unit. Years ahead of old thermostat and it look good.

I already had two Honeywell thermostats like this one, but I paid over $100 for those so I was psyched to get this for $20. The only thing I would caution people on is this thermostat requires a C Wire so be prepared to either run a new wire or install a plug-in C Wire adapter which can be a little tricky.

I ordered this product and it was perfect for what I needed and more. It works great with my phone app and I have full control over the thermostat. I had some rewiring to do since I was replacing a very old dial thermostat, but that was no problem. I highly recommend this!

Easy to program. Only thing I don’t like is that the screen turns from a black background to bright white from 2-3 AM. Too bright when trying to sleep.

This thermostat is amazing , I need to find someone to install it correctly in order to take advantage of all the bells and whistles it comes with.

I find the wifi setting very convenient, I can monitor and adjust temperature from my phone.

Product looks great and is easy to use. Most difficult part is getting it installed and properly wired. The help/support line was no help whatsoever. Long wait and after waiting the recording tells you no one is available so call back. Tried a few times with no one ever being available. I would suggest getting an electrician that is experienced with boilers as well. Another comment is when I went on line to register/set up remote use, the site said I’m eligible for money off my ConEd bill. I clicked on that and nothing happened. No more information was given or acknowledgement that my request was received.

Works as advertised but beware that you absolutely need more than two wires to provide constant power. My old Honeywell thermostat only had two wires so I had to replace the existing wires to the zone valves. Don't expect any technical support either.

The “C” wire is needed. You must have the “C” wire in order for the thermostat to work. So you can’t add the “C” wire don’t buy the Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart.

Works perfectly, shows outside temp and humidity when hooked to WiFi without having a separate sensor outside. Also shows indoor humidity and the temperature schedule is easy to set up on my iPhone. I had to run a 3x thermostat wire from my furnace to the thermostat to power it, it was easy to do by taping the new wire to the old wire and pulling it through the wall from the basement.

Thermostat installed relatively quickly and works well. The background color choice is a fun and nice feature.

-my scenario is heat only, single stage, no fan, had to use an extra fan wire (G) as the C-wire, but that worked out well.

Perfectly fits all my requirements. Highly configurable, reliable, simple physical interface, reliably controlled from website and phone app, can be easily linked to Google Home. And, what was specifically important for my use case, can be set to hold temperature in the winter as low as 40F. I use 2 devices, first to control the temperature in my home, second - in my vacation house. The remote (internet) control allows to run both location cost efficiently, and have the house warmed up to the required temperature at the time of arrival.

At the end of a long day it is nice to come home to a warrm and toasty house. I can adjust the heat on the way home. Very pleased with this Thermostat so far.

I have an old furnace, this was one of two possible thermostats which will work with my 1960s AitTemp tall boy gas fired furnace. It is good Honeywelll makes at least two which will work with old furnaces like mine. AS others say, it is very easy to set up and I generated my own C wire from the 20v transformer found in front of the fan control switches,

So far it’s working perfectly.Just had it installed last week.

This is a great product, it has many worthwhile features which can be accessed with a simple glance or with the touch of a finger. Installation is also very easy if the instructions are carefully read and followed.

Outstanding product and easy to set-up. System walks you through all necessary steps for Wi-Fi connection, quick reference guide also included. Product does require C-wire and I found during installation that my existing unit was already equipped. Screen has custom color options and complements perfectly with my room color.

Wow. I actually can feel a difference is a room that normally is much colder than the rest of the house in the winter (a room with glass on 3 sides in Ohio). The thermostat is no where near this room. I noticed the inside temperature almost never left the temp I set it for. The furnace cycled, anticipating it was about to drop below where I set it. I initially thought my system was malfunctioning since it seemed to cycle more often with the old thermostat yet the temp never moved. The user manual does says it shoots for 5 cycles per hour. I believe it. I have no idea how it will handle cooling.

This is all that I needed in a thermostat. It was really easy to install and connects to my Alexa device without a problem. The only issue I have is that it wants to default to a schedule for thermostat settings. Such as jump to 70 degrees after 6am. I want it to me more manual than that as I want to control when it actually comes in. I have worked around that so it should be ok.

I am handicapped and cannot always get up to change the temperature. This thermostat is great in that respect. I believe it has cut our gas and electric bills as well because the old thermostat was really old. We just bought this house 6 months ago!!!

Good product. But it’s humidity sensor is no accurate.

I really like this these thermostats and bought two for my house. One had a software glitch and would not load schedules. It then sent me separate error messages when the humidity level dropped due to an open window in the house but it sends a message that the thermostat sensor is broken and needs replacement. Searching online, I found out that this is another glitch. Otherwise, I like the thermostats and they are easy to operate and I like the remote functionality.

Overall happy with device and features. Need to absolutely verify the wiring specs so that G-wire is in the walls of the home as well as a computer update for the A/C handler. Biggest issue I’m unhappy with is the Honeywell website going down or unable to connect to check/change the temperature remotely which is one of main reasons I did this so disappointed. Also the App fonts are very small and should be a bit larger for proper reading.

Very nice, and came with good directions for how to get power to it (I had an old system with no external power input). I wish the touchscreen was a bit more sensitive; you really have to mash your fingers to get it to react. The app works well.

Installation was not too difficult. It's actually easy if you already have a power wire running to your current thermostat. I didn't, so I had to figure out how to add that. YouTube videos helped as did Honeywell technical support folks. They were actually quite helpful.
Thermostat works well. I wish it had ability to be programmed for more than 4 time periods per day, but that is a minor complaint as 4 are usually enough.
