85% works for the item it was purchased for. Fits, but not 100%. However, I am happy with it. Bought for a 2' fiberoptic Christmas tree with a rotating color wheel in the base. Just glad I found your website. Couldn't find it in a regular lighting store or Home Depot.

I bought this replacement bulb for a small fiber optic Christmas tree. When I ordered it, it was not described as a halogen bulb. I had been advised not to use a halogen bulb in this older application, but I will patiently wait until next Christmas season to find out if the heat from the halogen bulb melts my tree or starts a fire!

Bulb was smaller than the one that was being replaced, but was able to adapt its wires to the socket and the Christmas tree works. You didn't have the exact size that was needed so it was my choice to order what was available.
