The lanterns were just what I wanted. I painted them silver so that they would blend in more with the rest of the project. They look great!

Love this lantern! We are using it to light a trail from our house to a rustic cabin in the woods nearby.

It is exactly like I wanted. I have not had to use it yet. But it is good to know I have it.

We hung these lanterns in all our bedrooms to be used as ambient lighting. We love them. They look great! They are almost bright enough for reading.

Works great. Used them to provide light on food and bar tables at a cook out. Also set them out on the ground along the pathway so guests could walk safely through a dark area.

I really wanted to like these. I thought that I was ordering something nice by paying extra. These are no better than the cheaper ones I got from Amazon that were also made in China. The metal is cheap and dented easily. The paint on these seems better and I would have kept them, but the light is that blue-white LED. I want warm lighting. I purchased these to serve as bed-side lamps for my husband and myself in a Mountain-side cabin themed bedroom. The wiring is cheap. There's a dent in on of the lanterns that I can't overlook either. I will say that the paint looks like it's a better quality than what I got from Amazon. That's about the only improvement, to be honest. There is a real market for LED/battery operated light fixtures that are made well. I'd pay top dollar for cute LED, battery operated lanterns that are nice looking for during storms, bed-side lights, camping, etc. I'd give them as gifts, too. Unrelated - I've also been on the prowl for a battery-operated small LED chandelier. It doesn't exist! An 18" chandelier of any color would darling to have in places where electricity is not available. Hence, the lanterns. I dont want to put holes in my walls and there's only one outlet. It's an investment, too. Again - multiple uses AND have a light that doesn't look like sportsman hiking gear. Returning.
