Excellent upgrade to my ceiling fans. The newer ceiling fans are designed to take a 60 watt max candelabra bulb and there is no way around it unless you replace the entire socket. Also most newer ceiling fans are designed to where even if you do replace the socket a standard socket, the bulb will not physically fit with the globe in place. With this mini can socket I can now put in a 100 watt halogen instead of the dim 60 watt incandescent for much more room illumination. I recommend this upgrade to anyone who has a newer ceiling fan and not enough light

Good replacement. The old flange is a little wider but I was able to make this work. They need to make the flanges a bit more universal so all types of older cans can retrofit these.

I bought this to fix our dining room light fixture. It fit, and works. The leads are plenty long for a light with a 20 inch rod. Both were white, so I used a continuity checker and a marker to match the polarity. All in all, I'm thrilled that this little part saved me a couple hundred dollars over buying a new light fixture.
