This Socket Extender worked great to move my LED bulb to the edge of the existing can light fixture. This was an older fixture that had a non-movable socket so this was the perfect fix. VERY high quality construction with NO plastic.

It's now working very well and doing what I needed: getting light to the area it was needed. I also appreciated how fast the item was shipped. It took some weeks to screw in, however, and I had to get a handyman to do it, because the metal on the part that screws into the socket was roughened, and I needed to get a handyman to lubricate and attach it.

I use these things for re-purposing industrial light fixtures - you can make a high pressure fixture into an LED unit with these without a lot of mechanical alteration. These socket extenders are a quick problem-solver - a clean solution.
