Used in conjunction with 100w clear/silver bulbs to raise bulbs in carriage lights to aid in IDA dark sky compliant lighting. Works well.

I purchased the socket extenders to get the bulbs closer to the surface in some can lights that were non-adjustable, the quality of the sockets was good, and they did the job that I needed them to do.

Not sure why one would need this contraption to extend the socket. There are many simpler versions available. Yes, it swivels, but only around its own axis, not as at an angle, which makes it useless to me.
