This is not a "fish tank" bulb! My error, but warning others, if you look quickly it looks like a fish tank bulb, but the wattage is too high (at least for our tank) and it runs way too hot. Which is too bad; can't seem to find them in the stores. I used to be able to get them in stores at Walmart; I guess I'll have to go to an actual pet store.

blue color is misleading. the bulb does not have a blue color. it is a plain clear bulb emitting a different light than what my original subzero came with. it might be a good bulb but its a misrepresentation.
