I had a work light with a Halogen BP8635Q bulb that needed replacing. I determined that the Feit 78404 had the same GY8.6 bi-pin base and as long as it physically fit the application would be a suitable replacement. I had to enlarge the reflector to accommodate the larger LED light but now I have all the advantages of LED including a lower price.
