ecobee3lite Smart Thermostat

Works fantastic. It regulates well and is effective.

Installation was easy but unfortunately for some reason it does not connect to our wifi. We have tried different things and we can't get it to connect. We are unable to set it up with our phones, doesn't display the forecast, etc. Which are all nice features we can't enjoy. Specially be able to manage it with the app in Our phones.

Installed by a licensed electrician. It would not power up. Electrician said the thermostat is defective out of the box.

The ecobee thermostat is awesome! I have 3 now and am really impressed with their ease of use and statistics.

The product is just as described - it looks sleek, easy to read even during the night, and fairly easy to program once you see the temperature settings are different than the schedule time settings; and you can easily copy 1 day to other days of the week. Note, that the night schedule will include two settings when you are done, one to finish the current day up until midnight, and then the morning hours of the next day. I have noticed that APS controlled it a few times in the first month, but it went up only a degree or two for a few hours during their peak period - no real impact to us.
We really like it a lot.

So far I love how easy this is working for me.. I really enjoy not having to do anything in regards to adjusting it to the correct temperature.. I’m also loving having it all set up on my phone.. This makes life much less stressful.. Thank you.

I had an older thermostat and upgraded to this ecobee. It was easy to install and works great with Alexa. My wife likes the modern, digital display.

Very nice. Many features

This thermostat allows many settings through the week and on vacation. It is easy to use and I love having access on my smart phone. It is an easy way to check the outdoors weather as well.

I was a little apprehensive about the install on my heat pump. However the install was super easy and works great.

Product came as described. Easy enough DITY installation if you follow directions. Had issues with system blowing hot air on A/C but easy enough correction by trouble shooting settings.

It works just fine. I had to make some adjustments so that we could be comfortable but other than that, we are enjoying them.

The product is working fine. Like it very much.

This product was easy to install and provides a nice looking easy to read and schedule. The Ecobee application allows for a sleep setting and a daytime setting along with an away setting to help control energy use. It automatically adjust the thermostat during peak hours to help keeps energy costs down. Also can be linked to your Amazon Alexa for more scheduling options. We have one for both the main floor and the upstairs.

I don't have any complaints about this ecobee3lite thermostat, it was super easy and fast to change out from my old thermostat and works great. I love that I can control it from my phone from anywhere in the house or away from the house. Easy to read, to set, love that it has the outside temp on it. I can set it for a alert when my air filters need changed now instead of guessing. When you walk up to it the screen senses you are there and becomes "active". No problems at all and I love it, simple yet has many features, highly recommend.

Love our new Ecobee3lite thermostats! We replaced 3 other smart thermostats with these and are pleased with the flexibility of scheduling for Supercooling on our rate plan. They work great and are beautiful, too.

Great and easy to use .

Easy to install, easy to program, and accurate on temperature. The ability to change the temperature of the house using the phone is a nice feature.

This baby is slick! It was easy to install and setup. I use my desktop link to set and adjust the different times of use. It is part of my electric company (APS) program that adjusts based on demand. I get advanced notice when this is going to happen. I still have the option to override their adjustments. All in all I'm glad I made the switch to this product.

I could not install this right now. My technician found wires coming out of my thermostat that he could not locate their source. He did install it, but it was not operating properly so he removed it until I can find the destination for those wires.

It's good and working perfectly.

So far so good!! Installed 2 of these Ecobee thermostats and they work great. One of my original thermostats went to the promise land and to replace it in kind was $650.00. So I opted to replace them with ecobee3lite and glad I did. Easy to operate!!

I bought this product for my 1800 square foot home and absolutely love its performance. At first I thought it may be an extravagant purchase as my home is small and the walk to the control unit is minimal from any point in the house. I couldn't have been more wrong. Having the controls at my finger tips is SO convenient especially when I'm out and about. Install and set up was a breeze. Its design is very sleek. I love it and highly recommend the Ecobee3lite!!

The ecobee3lite is a fantastic thermostat. We purchased 2 for our 2 AC units. I installed them myself with the detailed instructions provided. Everything connected perfectly we were able to program our preferences easily. They both connect to our Alexa Show units as well.

I’m very happy with this item. Have two of them, upstairs and downstairs. Very easy to control and manage from either the iPhone app or website.

Is not compatible with the boiler I have and I cannot return it. I cannot review the product because it is not right for my application but I am Not happy with the purchase.

My first wifi thermostat and really happy with this, Install steps are provided, C was hidden in the wall so install was easy.
Once connected everything worked and can now monitor and set temperature from my phone and when I am on the road.

Excellent install guide! Easy to install, and it has been working great! Seamless transition. I have an OLD gas furnace, no a/c.

Purchased the Ecobee 3 for my home. Very happy with it. Had my electrician install it. Like that its wifi connected and that I can adjust settings from the app on my phone. Haven't figured the connection with Alexa yet. The only slight disappointment is that it doesn't allow you to set more than one program for any given day, but that's easily remedied by using the app.

I attempted to install this thermostat and after I was done it didn't work, I call the tech support number and they tried to assist me and they also didn't know why it wasn't working after troubleshooting the thermostat and told me to return it for a refund since it wouldn't even power up.

It took a little to figure it out, but I'm good now. Can set up multiple temperature changes through the day. Can quickly change from home temp to out of house lower temp. Can slide to change temp during a time period for temporary heat boost or cool down. Has connection to wi fi so gives you local weather at touch of screen. I did have to buy and install a transformer because my original hot water system only had 2 wires (no constant power feed). I was able to do this myself because I do many Home Improvements myself. You may want to check your wiring before you purchase one.

Started with just one - will be coming back for more. Easy to read and use - plenty of features not noted in the original ad! Recommend this for ease, efficiency and extra savings.

Love the product. Even though it is the bottom of the line it has. All the functionality one could want. Added room sensors make it better. Works well with a one pipe steam system.

This product is solid, great looking in any decor and most importantly, works great! I was able to pair it to all of my remote applications easily, and it came with plenty of documentation for anyone wanting to do the install themselves. Since this does require power (C-wire), I had to call someone in as most of my existing thermostats did not have one. This model is the best of functionality and price. Their newer model with built in Alexa and remote sensors were overkill for what I needed. Great buy!!!

Great product except one issue!
On the device humidity reading doesn't seem to be accurate!

Professionally installed, functioning as described and working well. Maintains temperature as setup, provides weather info, all functions are easy to access.

A little tricky to wire (instructions somewhat unclear) but we called the manufacturer’s technical support and was led through in about 20 minutes and we were then up and running. Unit works well and is compatible with HomeKit!

The product is great. Does what its intended to do. I just can't figure out why it reboots often. Not sure if it's a defect or a electrical current issue.

These are easy to setup and use. They connect with my network and can be controlled from my iPhone with the ecobee3 app along with my SmarThings app for programming of schedules and such. The only downside is the fact that they use WIFI and not ZWave. WIFI uses more power than zwave, and the concept of using smart technology is to save energy.

worked great for 2 months then stopped connecting to my Wi-Fi and would not turn on the AC

At best this is a really nice programmable thermostat. Without sensors the smart home away feature is useless as the unit itself does not have an occupancy sensor. No geo fence feature, my $60 security camera knows when I’m home and away why not a $200 thermostat. Smart recovery is a fail, after two weeks of putting up with heat cycles up 76 degrees I disabled it. Easy to install and set up, the downloadable graphs are nice. If you can catch it on sale not a bad deal otherwise look a little closer at the Nest.

spent a good half hour getting this the backing of this thing all hooked up to my wall and set to go. Finally the easy part comes along of putting the face on... it doesn't just pop on as I expected from previous thermostats... try again, it feels especially weird. flip it over and look at it and the prongs on the back are completely detached from the circuit board like the soldering barely half them ever. Never been so disappointed. had to take the whole back off the wallnand reinstall my old thermostat and then contact Honeywell to make things right, which was another long time waiting on the phone...

Make sure you have C wire before you purchase this product.
