Perfect! Just what I needed. And you can't find these in stores.

This bulb is in a lamp with adjustable 3 way level. As my wife like it light in the room where we watch tv, which is counter intuitive, when you are in a movie theater it is dark, and I am always hot and she is always cold even when it is 80 degrees or more. Anyway this is the only bulb that I can find that throws off enough light so that she is happy. Please note the Clear bulb is just a light brighter. I have tried just about every other light from old incandescent, CFLs and LEDs.
FYI I looked all over and LightBulbs.com has the best price, and ships lighting fast! and bulbs a packed carefully. Their customer is friendly professional knowledgeable & patient in answering questions. Over all I would rate this company A+++ with 100% satisfaction on every order.

These lamps work well most of the time. I've had one dud out of 6 bulbs and they usually last about 6 months. I really wish there was an LED alternative but I haven't been able to find one.
