I love the brightness and whiteness of this light. It is used in a very simple application: a kitchen light fixture. The fixture is clear with lengthwise grooves in the glass. This light creates beautiful radiating lines from the fixture. Very crystalline. A frosted bulb would not create this effect.

Our kitchen fixture needs these medium base bulbs. Our last purchase was nearly 9 years ago, so thanks to you I can put off changing it to an LED light.

this bulb is perfect. It allows us to use a 1928 bathroom fixture, original to the building and still have plenty of light.
