I was surprised upon receiving this order of amber bulbs to find that the base of the bulb was much smaller than I expected. At first, I thought I would have to return them but then realized these bulbs could replace the 5 watt bulbs we were using for the sconces in our dining room since the bases were the same size. Now we get a much more vivid amber glow, a perfect ambiance for a nice dinner.

These light bulbs were just what I needed and could not purchase in my area. I have 3 lamps that I use these special bulbs for in my home.
