Brite Star Tinsel Icicles (26446)

I grew up with tinsel on trees and wanted to relive those memories. Was absolutely thrilled when I found these and even more so when I received them. These are beautiful, not short and skimpy. They are just like the ones from my childhood, Once on the tree they are stunning. A little hard to see in photo but trust me, they are beautiful.

I am so happy to have finally found the Icicles. Also for the price. So every year, when I'll put them on my tree I will enjoy them.

Bought this to give my Christmas tree this year an authentic, sparkling, old fashioned look. Tinsel was very easy to hang, although it does take a little bit of extra time to drape over the branches. The lovely shimmer it throws off throughout the changing daylight, and at night with the lights on, is just beautiful. Love it!

Very happy to have found this tinsel and this site. I looked in 6 different stores and none of them carry this anymore. The packages were just as I remembered, with the tinsel folded over, and the strands pulled off nicely.

Very thin. Disappointed in them, nothing like the original ones from the 1950’s and 60’s. I won’t be buying them again sadly.

A fine product and a fine company

I ordered 10 packets of 2000 strand icicles, but they were packets of 1000. I was sent 20 packets of 1000 strands in a very timely manner. Most places wanted over $10 a packet, but there's were only $1.99. I would definitely buy from them again.

I’ve been looking for decent icicle tinsel for my Christmas tree for quite a while. It seems over the past 20 years they’ve gotten cheaper and flimsier. These are a step or two up from that. Certainly not the heavy lead ones from my childhood, which now would be considered a health hazard, but definitely the best I’ve seen in recent years

These are your basic tinsels. They are silver in color and one package is more than enough for the whole tree. Was very happy to find them here since my local stores didn't have any.

A necessary seasonal tree decorating product in my household. Exactly what I remember growing up (minus the lead) Usually, (past 15-20 yrs) this was found in any store for between $ .99 cents and $1.25. Sad to see it priced so exorbitantly high here, and even much higher on other retailer sites. It's not gold, its sliced cellophane. C'mon - where's the Xmas spirit vs. capitalism.

These icicles were great!! I bought three packs thinking that I would need all of them. However, one pack gave me plenty of shimmer and movement for my 7 foot tree, since it was placed in a corner. They looked beautiful and nostalgic. I was so happy to be able to find them. For any other application, I would recommend two packs to give you plenty to work with and to decide how much will be enough for a 7 foot tree.

After 25 years of using an artificial tree we purchased a real Christmas tree this year and I wanted to cover it in icicles, these icicles were amazing, they were 18 inches long which I loved and were soft, not like the ones back in the 70’s which would cut your fingers cause they were so hard. These icicles hung beautifully on our tree, ordered 10 boxes but used only 5, saving the rest for next year.

It's impossible to find the beautiful heavy metallic tinsel from yesteryear, but this is a nice substitute. I can't wait for Christmas to decorate the tree and have fond memories of our trees when I was young.

Every year I would search all the stores in my area for this old fashion style tinsel and was unable to find it. Worked out great. You do have to trim the bottom of the strings once you get it out of the pkg.

Good product but I wish they were a little wider.

This tinsel is still the best out there, but a couple of the boxes I ordered left silver coloring on my hands when I used it. Still a good product.

Product was as described but paid way too much for shipping this one item.

I added one package to my tree and my fingers were dark silver when I got done.

Not made the same... Too many icicles stuck/fused together. I had to throw 4 boxes away.

These are the new light weight plastic ones.

These are not like the ones I grew up. They are thin and you can barely hold them in your hand.The bend and the light weight keeps the bend. Are not like I remember. I put them back in the box and won't ever use them. Disappointed.
