It installed easily but is not very bright inside the oven.

LightBulbs.com says this bulb is for a Magic Chef microwave, however I used the bulb for a Sharp microwave. I looked at all the appliance, manufacturer and repair websites and was not able to find the correct bulb until LightBulbs.com. THANKS!!!

Pricing was reasonable. I cannot speak as to longevity but this appears to be the same as the original and that one was 25 years old when it finally gave up the ghost. Shipping was fast as well.

Since Sharp doesn’t share parts information for,their products, this turned out to be an exact replacement for the SMC1843CM microwave light which blew out after 2 weeks. So far so good with this one which already surpassed it’s predecessor. I bought 2 to have a spare. Don’t want to go through the hassle again. Sharp doesn’t warranty bulbs.

Bulb works great. I just didn't like that I was charged a high shipping rate. I got a big box for a little bulb and was charged a big box shipping rate. I would've recommended my friends to this site but I don't want them to be ripped off like I was.
