Have you ever felt like a fish out of water? As someone who happens to be a Packers fan living in the heart of Minnesota Vikings territory, I sometimes feel out of place. When I’ve felt left out before, I try to put myself at ease. Decorating my cubicle in the most obnoxious way possible with green and gold definitely put me at ease amongst the Vikings fans at work.
Though I had fun decorating my cubicle, decorating at home is much better. It brings some of the excitement in the atmosphere at the game right into the room with us. Whether you want to decorate for a specific team, or showcase your love for sports, there are a lot of ways to show your love of the game by decorating.
Even though you might prefer to watch TV with the lights off, you need enough lighting in the room to see your halftime snacks! This lamp style creates a cozy glow in the room, giving off just enough light to make sure your chip is going in the dip instead of your drink.
Try switching things up with colored lightbulbs. Use bulbs with your favorite team’s colors to create the feeling of crazy stadium lights. Or throw it back with a lava lamp!

Cheering during the game is lots of fun; lighted boards and letters showcase the cheers that make your team special. There are even some lighted white boards and light boxes so you can say anything you want. With white lighted letters, you could even paint the letters to your team’s colors.
